Im not trying to start any hate it just made me laugh. Its only fuckin music.
If anyone's interested in hearing some decent drum and bass, I did a mix a couple of weeks ago which pretty much covers all the bases of good dnb, from more experimental choppy and mimimal things, through to bass-heavy Bristol-style rollers and techy stuff as well. Few classics in there too!

Charlie says only tell your mum before you go off somewhere!???not a smoker in that sense... take parts in other recreations
it's funny you mention that.sek [espionage] wrote:anyone notice jungle kids hating on dubstep

what's that supposed to mean?UFO over easy wrote:you're a fact
I really think this is subjective and more the result of location than anything else.i saw large amounts of animosity towards dnb from dubstep heads long before i ever heard anyone speak ill of dubstep from the dnb camp. that's a silly thing to just now "notice" sek. personally, i think alot of that negative energy reflecting from dnb is quite possibly a reaction to the attitude given to people involved in dnb from the dubstep heads.
No, neither have, but honestly, I WOULD PREFER TO BE IN A ROOM WITH A FAIR RATIO OF GUYS TO GIRLS THAN A FUCKING SAUSAGE FEST. And listening to a form of music that I like. I don't get that with DnB. Dubstep nd similar genres have that.dj_lean wrote:neither dnb or dubstep has ever been about girls. Dont get me wrong, Id love to see more girls at both types of night but the blokes are in the majority...if you want to go out for the girls there is always funky/electro house or rnb clubsdrum syndicate wrote:I see more ladies inna dance at the Dubstep shows than I do at the dnb shows. That's a part of what seals the deal for me. I'm over going to events where there's 10+ guys to each 1 female. If I wanna go sit in a room with a bunch of guys and make noise, I'll go bbq at a friend's house, get a bunch of beer, and throw on some sports or some shit.
Nice try mate.Baron_von_Carlton wrote:Im not trying to start any hate...

Well that sucks. What a bunch of fucks.sek [espionage] wrote:I think that was VERY apparent when we were forced to have skream play in the same room as dillinja last year and a few hundred disgruntled junglists would yell out "fuck off what is this shit, play some jungle, you suck" during the quiet parts in his sets.
Maybe the same is true down south?
It's the weed. Makes everyone laid back.sek [espionage] wrote:apparently in calli dnb and dubstep live together quite nicely.
I just thought I would drop this quote, as we are now on page 7.TeReKeTe wrote:i still love & respect a good amount of d&b but, damn... that thread is retarded. 7 pages of drivel???
