in a way it does but theres still a lot of creativity involved and unique stuff. i mean the use of distorted basslines is in almost all of dubstep, but the way those basslines are used and the texture of those basslines are different each time...well, except those excision copycats that cant experiment

the only thing that really is the same is the use of distorted basses

I don't think I've seen a single post from you that didn't make me facepalm. I'm starting to get a sore forehead to be honest.

That's why on all his posts I've been using this technique.

I've not posted in a while and now I've remembered why.

Why dont both of you shut the fuck up and lay off him? I remember when both of you used to populate this board with stupid questions and facepalm worthy comments.

If you disagree with what he is saying. or know that what he is saying is incorrect then why not try and educate him by showing the same kind of support that both of you were shown when you first started posting? He is 15. Dont be dicks.

There are too many people just deciding to do this shit now, I got fuck all help from this forum. Imma be a tnuc until the end. If you don't know what you're talking about then shut the fuck up. I got torn to shreds when I come on here, so will all the other bitches.

Dubstep is shit now anyways, full of fangirl posers and 15 year old children. Top ten bollocks.

I wonder why people stop posting on this pile of shit.

Waste man. Haven't seen a thread that has challenged me in any way in about a year. Apart from maybe some of basic's stuff.

What's wrong with 15 year olds? Were you that creepy lonely kid who took his cousin to year 11 prom?

No. My cousin wasn't at the same school as me so I went alone.

You can't understand dubstep if you're under 18. How the fuck can you have heard a proper soundsystem.

Now I'm that lonely kid. The one who never talks to any actual humans and sits in his room smoking weed and going slightly insane as his prior lurking is ruined by 15 year old kids and boring music.

I've been going to raves since I was 14/15, be it free rave or in a venue. Where there's a will there's a way :corndance:

Geez guys all I said was that most dubstep has distorted baselines...wat the heck you all know it's true and the creativity in those songs come from the sound of the baselines ad the way that the artist puts together the song...geez I was saying that dubstep is never the same other than the fact that they mostly have those basslines ... what I said to Skratch wasnt wrong, you all just misinterpreted it

btw, I have posted helpful things and have contributed to this forum alot for my one month that Ive been a member. So its not right for you to say you always facepalm whenever I post anything...either you havent really even seen anything ive posted or you are just lying trolls.

K im going to Leave that shitstorm of an arguement and actually post something relevant to the thread topic. One my friend said to me today was
"You guys dont make music. All you do is click buttons on a computer instead of using instruments like people who make real music do"
Ive heard this an awful lot and i still dont understand it. Since when was music defined by what was used to make it? Do people like rock not because of how it sounds but because they know that Guitars were used to make it? This argument doesnt make sense by any means.
\Frankly i have to stop hanging out with her. :corndance: I showed her what i do and she called it lame cuz it was on a computer. She then proceeded to show me that she learned how to hold a guitar and started gnawing away on the strings as if she knew what she was doing. :u:
Bitches be crazy.
This concludes my daily DSF rant.

I just got one from Lectric right up above this post lol. Look in his sig:
DSF's No.1 (and only) Skrillex Fan
Nope Im a fan too man. Noone can deny Skrillex has some pretty sick sound design and I really respect that. Let thee who hast made an awesomer growl sound cast the first stone.

Then, of course theres the other thing in his sig :cornlol:

atleast tell me why

i mean i started this thread so that we could all share a laugh, not cuss eachother out over little misuses of words...'looping' instead of 'repeating the pattern' ??? how is that something to "facefuckingpalm" to? And Whats wrong with saying that alot of dubstep uses distorted basslines? its true! There's no way that I was suggesting that all dubstep is the same, i was simply stating that the use of "basses" is commonly found in dubstep songs. I don't know why you guys have such a problem with me stating that fact. Are you afraid to admit that theres sound design involved with dubstep? Are you ashamed of your basses? I realize that theres tons of different kinds of dubstep and hardly any of it is the same. I wasn't stating otherwise
