Indeed they aren't the same thing. the moderators aren't "working hard" to allow group A to be trolled, and group B to be promoted. what you're implying is totally ridiculous. there's dozens (and i'll find them if you want) of skream threads on this site, where he's getting slated and also supported. opinions are opinions. everyone has a right to them, but trolling popular dj's and producers (burial, zomby, skream, rusko, caspa, skrillex) is becoming a growing sport on this site as we get bigger, and when there's a pattern of it, the moderators will definitely get involved, as its stupid.
just as we get involved when unknown DJ XYZ has a problem with DJ ABC, or DJ 123 thinks he can flood the site with soundcloud spam. moreover, this idea that skream doesn't need protecting, is also as silly as implying that we should only be protecting and promoting new talent. we started the dub's forum to do exactly that 4 years ago, so you don't have anything to stand on in regards to that. this whole site is geared towards helping people get exposed, connected and on their own path.
