Nope sorry can't help you there. If you want to ask him out on a date just go ahead though, what's to lose?

:D First I like slower stuff if its Burial, but some of the stuff around is incredibly dull :| 6 minuites of dull blips and blobs.
Dubstep doesnt lend itself well to slow repetative beats, if it were grime or dancehall its ok,as the hype carries the tune.
benga's Sponge Bob: not feeling this at all, very repetative, very dull.
Distance on Darkstep >>>>>> Distance now
90% of Skreams stuff i find boring, but the other 10% is tooo much
Overall anything slow and uninteresting bores me rigid
more stuff like clue kid: halogen (does get a little repetative) Toasty,Coki,Benga most of the time. Vex'd.anything diverse.
people complain about wobblers, but a repetative Wobbler >>> some dull neeky walking through treacle slow tune.
:o

this thread has brightened my day, that's for sure :)

seriously though, im stumped as to how anyone could perceive burial's music as "slow" or "dull" when there's so much motion carried in his rhythms

50000 watts, spongebob, that amy winehouse remix, and about 5000 generic 'lets make a moody dubstep tune that doesnt progress anywhere for 5 minutes' tracks. dubstep is currently my favourite electronic genre but there's alot of generic shit that is just as boring and formulated as alot of house and breakbeat.

And let's face it ranting on something you hate is way funnier than gushing about something you like. Who was the last comedian who made you laugh chatting about something they enjoy?

for me i probably only like 40% but that 40% is some of the sickest music ive ever heard. kinda like most music most though most of it, especially the biggest and easiest to find at first, is crap, the real gems lay under the surface.
