yea i have definately noticed a change in my weed consumption, and i have to agree with the original post that dubstep nights are not nearly as fun as they used to be without cannabis.

although i have remained a good boy at fwd nights since the smoking ban you always hear the mc's saying that the night will be forced to end early if people don't stop smoking in the crowd.

it seems that the ban is a lot more serious than i thought it was at first. i thought all the 'it's now illegal' shit would ware off within a couple of months (obviously weed has been illegal for a long time but it was never really that illegal at fwd).

People seem to be able to smoke fine at Dark Crystal. More people up to Sheff!

Here we have PURE FILTH, a fucking Rowdy mashup of a night in an underground location in Los Angeles. Everytime ive gone there, ive seen heavy blazin from all corners. Its great cuz we can just blaze up inside.

Rarely smoke. Ruins my mind. And when money is short I'd rather spend £20 on 3/4 new tunes.

Billing up does have a place in dubstep seen as the music follows the Reggae/Dub/Jungle etc. line. But if nights were to fall short on atmosphere because of smoking bans then what does that say about a) the crowd and b) the music?!

It's just not the same stepping into a rave that isn't pretty much a giant hot box...when I first started going to dubstep nights I just remember all that so much, just an integral part of it. At the end of the day dubstep and marijuana seem to be hand in hand, for me getting lean up just makes up a large part of the listening experience, as well as a few beers and whatever else.
Not going to whinge about way things were though, most of the nights and venues I go to it's fine to bun one in the middle of the dance, everyone is and even the bouncers on occasion. just got to be careful if it's a small club or what have you. If you see a few other people getting away with it light it and hold it low. Other than that all about places with decent smoking areas unlike the horrible human cage out back of clockwork! Zoots before, outside, and after if it ain't gonna fly, or if it's not a massive night and the promoters could get in shit. I think a lot of places aren't too bothered by it, bigger venues anyway. Can imagine blazing one inside the dojo lounge here resulting in getting your ass handed to you by one of those scary bouncers. Can't wait to go skankin in the dam, well overdue.

For me I just load a few cigs with da weed. Works out well for me. Never really burned up in the club.

The area I live (and I think some new englanders would vouch for me), wherever there is a dubstep event, it seems like there is more alcohol involved. Im not a big drinker, nor a big spender..

I thought I smelled some peng at the goodlife the last time around, could have been just me though.

if you need to drink, smoke or pop pills to have a good night, then you're not really having a good night. I'm not anti cos I do bad things but the best night out of my life was stone-cold sober cos the music was killer and the vibe in the place was killer.
don't suggest that dubstep and weed go hand in hand cos they don't. and I'm for legalising....
