I think it's pushing it to ask people to produce something new - especially if we want it out before Christmas. I don't think it's a big deal. I've sent my most recent tunes only, nothing older than a few months.
Also YES for tracklisting but NO for splitting into individual tracks. Rather people listen to the whole mix than just skip to track #8 because it's their favourite or whatever.
As for the art work well I think it would be nice to do it in CD format (eg front and back) and make a space for each artist to say whatever they like (no more than 20 chars for example) plus a link. And package that all up in the mix.
All this shit is extraneous to the actual mix but I think a little bit of polish goes a long way and to make it something to be proud of!

				YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
I understand both sides of the arguement on that one
I have terrible writers block from time to time (right now is one of those times)
but this is a good opportunity to make some hot shit for a special mix!
give it what you got peeps, I know I'm getting hyped about this!

I totally understand. It's not a big deal. you're good.

All I'm getting at is that it'd be nice to get *some* stuff no one has heard. It'd be nice - its not mandatory. I'm really excited with all the submissions so far!

and use the dropbox!

Apart from the one tune I sent in, I have nothing else I feel is up to standard. So there's no way i'm sending in old tunes, any other tunes will have to be made by scratch and mixed down on my laptop!

Very early on for artwork, but here's something I boshed together in 10 minutes. Very, lar de darr and post modern, what's everyone think? this style or something more gritty?
