See, I Google that story and one of the hits that comes up is this;

so knowing about someone who died and was in the news recently but not someone who died 18 years ago is... wrong?

people are so weird about what gets in the news...

The world is weird by itself, the Internet just puts that weirdness out there for all to see.

The main thing that pisses me off about that is the whole 'you are everything that is wrong with this world' thing. Oh, so not knowing who Kurt Cobain is somehow links you to poverty, corruption, war, crime, famine, etc? k.

well how else are you meant to become facebook famous

never know whether doing something on your facebook settings is gonna send someone a notification.

Facebook has a miserable tnuc setup for preferences. No comments/tags without approval, no contact by strangers, no friends of friends seeing any of your shit etc etc
