Nightwalker

I'm only happy at night. I'm so at peace and happy right now.

All day long I'm miserable and sad and depressed, lethargic, but every night--ever single night after 12am, I become so freaking estactic about life and how beautiful it is and I love everything and everything is so fun and I dread going to sleep and daylight...

I've always been a night person--way back to my teenage days--I've ALWAYS come to life at night, energy wise, but my moods never did this until recently... last couple weeks I've noticed this.

It's 2:14, I know I need to get in bed, but I also know I may not be able to sleep--and besides that it just feels too exciting right now, like the world is my oyster. I could start music, or something. I don't want to--because music at night is like unworldly. Your creativity is insane. Like you're dreaming. I would be up until daybreak. And I hate being up so late that the sun comes up.

I'm rambling. I needed to express this.

Whats the reason for this??

Remember doing this last winter, around twilight but still dark whilst it was hacking it down with snow. Was on another level.

I've always preferred the night. Just feels right.

I usually get most of my demo listening/plotting/scheming for the label done on these late night walks.

Got a fucking aces arab store about a mile up the street. Usually load up the tunes for the night and take a walk. Hit the arab store, get me one iced-tea and a churro and head back.

Usually about an hours worth of listening total if I take the long way.

I have very minor narcolepsy but have trained myself to function off of shorter naps than a full 6-8 hours of sleep. midnight - 4am is fantastic, focused, peaceful time.

Yeah. I only go out if I'm going out.

I usually go to sleep at 6 - 7 am and wake up around 4pm.

The world just looks differently at 4am on a weekday.

It's about to be hoodie weather. Hoodie 4am walk is the best nightwalk

Yes

..as soon as the clocks change and its pitched black
Out 4am with my Mary Poppins bag
And a notepad

Sitting near a road and just watching the world awake
Feeling my breath hit the cold air but staying warm inside my jumper
+ a bit of burial; bliss

Morning-night walk > Night-night walk
