i really don't understand what the problem is. i've never been in an airport. i don't want someone i don't know looking at me naked on a screen no matter how nice my body is. i'd also prefer to not be irradiated. when i requested a pat-down instead, i'd also pick who was going to do it. that's what they need to do. they need to have a lineup of attractive men and women ready to do full body searches. i'd make sexual noises and try to help their hand when they got to my sensitive areas. what's the big fucking deal?

id write them naught notes inside my shoes so they could read them when inevitably i have to take them off

there is no problem, but you need to feel there's one and that the state is taking care of it [at a certain expense, of course]

similar thing happened to me when i flew into S.F. last year. i was taken into a seperate room with 2 officers (2 more guarding the door) because apperently i smelled like weed (i don't smoke at all). so after one of the officers told me that he will have to hurt me if i don't cooperate i got a little nervous. which caused them to believe i got nervous because i was hiding something and so on and so on. after 30 minutes which felt like 3 hours they finally had to let me go because i simply didin't do anything wrong. now everytime i travel to the U.S. i get picked "randomly" out of a group of people...

At least you know what's going on there. One of the guys at work found out at Heathrow that he was on the US no-fly list. This was almost a year ago and they still won't tell him why.

Is it even safe?.. I swear X-Rays etc are potentially dangerous

Last time I went Heathrow they stopped to search me while I was taking my sister to the toilet.
Thankfully she broke the awkwardness by throwing up everywhere.
