So I purchased a patch bay yesterday and had to go to 5 different stores looking for L+R mono 1/4" Jack to stero 1/4" jack, I needed a good few of the leads and although the shops stock them, they have had non in stock for a while.

I beg to ask why guitar centers and live PA stores don't stock such basic wiring. Has the world gone totally software these days? I feel like a caveman asking for wires!

I'm now left with a mess where my studio should be until I can get the wires.

why not just buy some wire, leads and solder em yourself?

Internet every time if you don't live in a big city. It's a one day wait sure but at least you have a decent choice. Not just the last cable they managed to find tangled in the corner.

Yeah man they're 5% off every Friday on b-stock is the tits. I wish I had he cash for this atm. Probably the best deal I've seen on there is a focal cms65 for £293. That's near 50% off!!!

patchbay!? that is what reason is for.

Make it yourself. Use 1/4" male and buy a stereo female. Then use a 1/4" stereo cable. You can even use a guitar cable for the mono 1/4" males and cut it in half. You can get these parts at radio shak(in the states). Or you can get them online anywhere. Partsexpress.com
