well personally i hate it. this must be the 1001th time that chord progression is used, in dubstep alone. i don't like the particular snare sample but the drum pattern is okay and although it sounds like you had recorded this playing out with an iphone and then put that recording up, i can tell the mixdown is decent. i don't like the vocals or the piano at all, but i guess that's not your fault because this is a remix and my guess is those are the original song parts? and i don't know why this is chill?

jeez man i agree with everything you said there! i loved this song when I made it but slowly started to hate it because of the simple ass age old chord progression. i HATE that snare sample too, lately i've been working alot with layering samples to get something unique. i hate the vocals effect too as well and maybe even his voice without the effect but to be honest, this song was a big lesson in structuring for me. so long as i walk away from this song with new knowledge, then I am happy with what it is.
thanks for the great feedback man! =]

I love the vocals and the piano chords! I'm really fond of this chill dubstep.
Check out my track too if you like, I make house music.
MOD EDIT - Do not spam your track in other people's threads

You need some serious work on the mixdown.
There's no real impact on any hits.
The drum seems expanded too far into the stereo field.
Repetitive melody.
It is however a bit better than some of the tunes posted on this board.

Honestly, I didn't even listen to the OP's track yet (i'll try to get around to it tomorrow and post some feedback), but this comment was just beyond harsh. Who the hell starts out criticism with "i hate it"? This is why this part of DSF is generally just useless.

i took his criticism well, i believe. i didn't think much of it other than what was worth taking from what he said. but regardless, thanks for the feedback on the mix. it's been a while since i made this song and as each day goes by i can tell more and more how crappy this is. not to mention i went back and re-mixed it according to what other people were saying. and i may have overdone a few parts, when it was probably good the way I had it. but nonetheless, thanks!
