ive got a girl on mine who hurt her back and she posts hourly updates on how much valium she has eaten and how many painkillers she has eaten (with pictures) and about her doctors visits, checking in at every place and details about all different opinions her doctors are giving her, its been going on for about 5 months (and im pretty sure is mostly bullshit, she said she has to inject herself in the stomach every morning and get weekly spinal taps). so annoying but not hypocritical like most of your examples.

I've got other stuff, this kid from a high school I went to, decided he's a rapper, uses my page as a billboard for it, and asks me for beats he can "spit 2"

He posted on my wall on my birthday, said nothing more than the following:

Glad I never jumped on board the band wagon. The funny picture thread on SNH provides me with a condensed version of all the good shit facebook has to offer without actually having to sell my sould to the devil and get an account.

cull these fools. I have about 100 friends on facebook, but they're all good people because I culled the morons.

Those people you weren't friends with at school and haven't seen in the last 10 years aren't suddenly your friends now, so why are they on your friends list?

People say you can tell a lot about a person from their friends, so choose them carefully.

It's quite simple. If you have annoying people whose updates you don't want to see any more, simply go on their page, hover over the Friends tab, and de-select 'Show in News Feed'.

I'm also sure I don't need to point out the irony in coming onto the internet to moan about other people moaning on the internet!

My wife moans about 2 of her friends that just biggup each other all day.
Posting photos of a hand showing an ok symbal and then saying you're more than ok you're the best.

I recently put a status about this and ironically some of those that liked it were the same people that like those shitty pictures. Desperate sheep get culled!.

I think facebook is a social network, for people you already know. Linkedin is more for networking, from my understanding.

all my bugbears with facebook revolve around the ad algorithms and shit they put in your newsfeed like trending articles that no one has read

what other people post - couldn't give a fuck, it's what the unsubscribe button is for. i hide the ticker because jesus christ. mainly use it for messaging people to be honest, the news feed is just an occasionally advantageous/interesting addition.
