I know a lot of people on here are against basically everything Israel does, and that's a fair opinion.

What do you suggest is done about it? Say if you can make a decision about what happens to Israel now, and it'll happen, what would you do? With reasons please.

I just can't work out an outcome that wouldn't see tonnes of people being displaced/getting killed.

This has seriously turned into the most pathetic situation of the modern era. Israel is like the fourth reich for palestinians, but Hamas hates Palestinians too so they bomb Israel (rather than lead by example) to provoke them and kill more Palestinians.

I'm totally done with it. The west should get the fuck out of their affairs. It's their business. And I hope it can be solved with as little bloodshed as possible, but let the Middle East figure their affairs out and we need to stop trying to control both sides.

I still get sad like I used to, but after these recent events I'm more frustrated and disgusted and exhausted by it more than anything

This. I can't believe there are people out there that don't think Israel should react to missile attacks, but everything Israel does (right or wrong) just provokes more hatred their way.

Seems the only solution is to just stick every Israeli on a ship, including millions of people that were born into a internationally recognised state of Israel, and move them elsewhere, which isn't on, or just remove everyone who hates Israel from the region.

very least it needs to do. it should also allow the recognition of palestine as an observing non-member state by the UN without retaliation because FFS israel it won't hurt. it won't though.

what can other countries do? nothing, because the united states unconditionally supports israel. even if the entire rest of the world voted for sanctions against israel it would have no effect.

To what extent? I always get a bit mixed up with who took what or who gave up what around Israel and the middle east, but going back some years now, and like I say, many people have been born and grew up Israeli in those areas. Is forcibly moving people that had absolutely no say in the formation of those areas on a sound thing to do?

Israel wont do that because they simply want that land, and that region to themselves

the situation won't resolve peacefully, the land is sacred, both sides feel they have a god-given right to live there
