Trying to make stuff more on the "deeper" end of the spectrum rather than the dentist drill stuff that seems to be prevalent on here, no offence if that's your thing, it just isn't mine. Any good tutorials for this sort of sound ?

How much do you reckon the percussion makes a difference to the "feel" of the bass ?
