Yeah, that's right, I appreciate being single, so in your face non-single people.
Benefits include lots of random sex, not worrying about buying anybody anything for Valentines, and more.*
*Sometimes sex isn't as plentiful or random as we'd like, and one oft finds themselves too broke to buy themSELVES anything, let alone an obligatory Valentines gift. Regardless, being single still rocks and you're all fucking jealous.

does anyone hate it the way your friends partners look at you as if to say, why havent you got a girlfriend, why arent you with her, instead of here with me and my boyfriend, why are you such a bad influence, why do you try and take him to meet girls, why are you such a dickhead?

being the single female is no picnic either because couples look at you like something is wrong with you if you're a chick and you're single...
so even if you say that you're happy being alone....sometimes thats not enough for the coupled female...instead of the rational thought, which would be, "If they wanted to hook up, they woulda done it before I met him."
Not in the early 20's tho. The single female becomes more and more of a threat the older she gets and the more people pair off and start families and serious relationships.

oh no bellebelly i was being gender friendly in that statement, thats why i said partner lol...
i know what you mean by that though, and can definately see women in there mid 20's being a threat to couples..
especially if they are smoking..
however im not really on the thought of vegetating on the sofa every night with someone i wished i had the guts to break up with, but am staying with them just purely for the couple factor/security/whatever...
when i could be doing anything else
