hello everyone!
this is a mash-up album fusing global traditional music and modern dub, grime, bass and electronics.
if you've ever wondered what Digital Gamelan is like, how Capetown Gospel singers sound in London ghettos, or how Robots would play Ethiopian Jazz...

just finished listening the mix, it's REALLY fresh & original, one of the most original mix out there at the moment, seriously peeps you got to dl it you wont be disapponted! one question: is there a way to get a version of the mix in one mp3, it would be really cool!

This captures the essence of when I saw Jah Wobble (Chinese Dub) @ W.O.M.A.D. and it blew me away with the amount of space and spirit!
Big work Zhao, keep on with the pioneer work:)

do you mean dissensus or holler? but you have a different screen name here no?

ahh Mr. Wobble... have to say he was one of my early (very early, as in when i was 16) inspirations... along with Laswell and My Life in the Bush of Ghosts. have not heard this "Chinese Dub" project of his though... should i check it out?

right now i'm focusing finishing NGOMA mix vol. 2. that series is strickly for the dancefloor...
first volume was around 110 BPM - Kwaito, Bhangra, Dancehall, Bongo Flava, etc. and the second one will be 130-140: UK Funky, Dancehall, Chutney, Calypso, South African Deep House, Kuduru, UKG, Bassline, Grime and Dubstep.
but the first ideas for FUSION part 2 is already forming like little alien mushroom babies inside my ganja riddled brain-womb
bigup the open minded peeps here... more than some other places.

that sounds great.
this mix is really fresh, and its nice to see people doing something really inventive other than the basic "15 tunes i bought yesterday slapped together" that a lot of people seem to think is adequate.
so props to you man this mix is sick.
